ART AND POLITICS
Art is powerful in the way it can ignite ideas and elicit emotions. It can be used to inspire, intimidate, or even brainwash, and political leaders have never been oblivious to its functional capacities. The use of art for political purposes is a double-edged sword that some leaders have wielded with more wisdom that others.
Think of any example of how art has been used in politics for either virtuous or corrupt ends and explain it.
