Objectives:
- Research how lines and colors can depict an emotion.
- Create an abstract work of art in the style of Kandinsky that depicts a certain feeling.
- Analyze/Interpret visual communication.
- Utilize new Adobe Illustrator tools that are demonstrated.
- Write a statement about artwork and analyze/respond to a classmates artwork.

How does interpreting Art differ from interpreting Graphic Design?
Steps:
1. Choose a song that you would like to illustrate.
2. Think back to the previous lessons on line and color and how you can use different line styles and color combinations to create a certain “feel” to the artwork.
3. Think about the general feeling of the song you chose and think about the lines and colors you can use to create an abstract design of what you think the song would look like.
4. Using your knowledge of lines and colors and your knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, create your own picture in the style of Kandinsky using Adobe Illustrator.
