Photoshop Texture Brush Name Design

For this assignment you will use your name to create a logo design in photoshop.

First, go to www.dafont.com and choose a font style that you would like to use.
Using the text box tool, type your name into a document in photoshop using your chosen font.

Next, find an image that you would like to convert into a texture brush and apply it to your name. Below are the instructions for creating a texture brush:

START:

1. Find an image that you would like to convert into a Photoshop brush.
2. Open that image into Photoshop - Go to File --> Open and select the image file.
3. Change the image (if it is in color) to a black and white image. Go to Image --> Mode --> Grayscale and discard the color information.
4. Next, go to Image-->Adjustments --> Brightness/Contrast and adjust the image to get rid of some of the grayscale.
5. Once you have the image the way you like, go to Edit-->Define Brush Preset.
6. Select the brush tool in your photoshop tool bar and select your custom made fond brush from the brush options at the top.
7. Create a texture design with your custom made brush (Remember you can adjust the colors and opacity to create a more interesting effect).
